About Me.

James Adetoyese-Olagunju is a cinematographer, Producer, and photographer based in Canada. Born and raised in Nigeria, he moved to Canada at the age of 16, an experience that shaped his perspective and appreciation for people, culture, and collaboration. It was through this journey that he developed a strong passion for creating and working with others to bring ideas to life.

With a background that also includes carpentry and hands-on trades, James approaches his work with practical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail. Guided by the belief that everything carries meaning, he approaches both life and creative work with intention—seeking to create images that are thoughtful, honest, and purposeful.
